Star Coin 2 - The second Star Coin is up a yellow Warp Pipe.Star Coin 1 - The first Star Coin is before the Red Ring.After some Mega Deep-Cheeps and a Warp Pipe, Mario will reach the pole. When the player finds a whirlpool with blocks on the bottom of it, Mario should let himself get sucked into it, being taken into an area with the third Star Coin. The second Star Coin is located in a yellow pipe in between some whirlpools. The player must wait until the whirlpools shrink to pass them. Then, there are whirlpools that can suck Mario into a bottomless pit, causing him to lose a life. The first Star Coin can be found near a Red Ring. Mario should continue moving to avoid the Deep-Cheeps that home in on him, or otherwise hit them with a fireball. Mario starts the level on a mountain, and must take a Warp Pipe to go underwater. Deep-Cheeps and Mega Deep-Cheeps make their only appearance in this level. Mario should grab the Starman, and when the water lowers, run through the Spinies and get the Star Coin.This is an underwater level. Star Coin 3: There is a ? Block containing a Starman.Star Coin 2: After the third green Warp Pipe, Mario should wait for the water to rise, and then jump or Wall Jump.Then, he should run along the trail of Blue Coins until it wears off. Star Coin 1: Mario should hit an Invisible Block containing a vine, then and hit a brick containing a P Switch.When Mario goes through the yellow Warp Pipe, he will reach the pole. Mario can get the last Star Coin by going past a few Spinies. One takes Mario to a bonus area with several Flying ? Blocks containing a total of eight 1-Up Mushrooms and 120 coins, and the other is a Pipe Cannon that takes the player to the second Star Coin. Soon after that, Mario should reach two tall cannons. Mario should climb it and press a P Switch, jumping across some Flying ? Blocks to get the first Star Coin. In between those coins are two Invisible Blocks, one containing a vine. After the Red Warp Pipe, the player should see a ? Block with two coins above it. Excluding tower, castle, and ghost house levels, it is the longest level in the game. This level has rising water similar to Mondo from Super Mario World.
